Women's Watersport Weekend

In addition to the Ladies' Kingfish Tournament this weekend our Island will also host a Women's Watersport Weekend. This is the first event of this type that has been held here, and it is hoped to become an annual spring event taking place each April.
This weekend's event will consist of kiteboarding, surfing and kayaking competitions as well as being host to professional kiteboarder Laura Maher and State Champ surfer Molly Ware being here to teach their respective sports. Palmstreet and Dorado's are also working with the event providing entertainment and meals.
